I threw interior designer Cara Woodhouse a party for her first book and the only assignment was the title. It's a Mood. So we made one.

Cara has spent her whole career convincing people that a room can have a feeling, and now there are 288 pages of proof, foreword by Henry Holland, out with Abrams. The book is organized by mood. The party was too. Everyone left a little more interesting than they arrived, which is the only metric I keep.

Congratulations Cara. The mood was, correctly, immaculate.
